Make Your Brand Stand Out In 2010
The business industry is full of competition, and now, more than ever, companies are finding that the need to stand out from the crowd is vital. To get local professionals on track for success in the coming year, Bruce Blinn of the local AlphaGraphics business center is giving individuals in the Houston community tips on how to approach the year with a new perspective.
âItâs time for change â and change can be good for your business,â said Bruce Blinn of AlphaGraphics on Breck Street. âItâs important that business professionals make smart decisions now, especially when leveraging their brand. We have developed some easy tips to consider as they finish up 2009 and prepare for 2010.â
Blinn has provided the following tips.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Consider a New Log Design. Your logo isnât just a stamp of your business name. It represents and brands your company, and is used to attract the attention of prospective customers. Consider making your logo fresh, modern, and eye-catching with new shapes, fonts, colors and/or images that make it memorable and describable.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Donât Think Direct Mail is a Lost Cause. Although it may be considered yesterdayâs way of advertising, direct mail is still and effective way to send your message to your target consumer audience. Before yearâs end, marketers will have spent about $149.3 billion on direct marketing, which accounts for 54.3 percent of all ad expenditures in the country, according to the Direct Marketing Association. Measured against total U.S. sales, these advertising expenditures will generate approximately $1.78 trillion in incremental sales.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Explore New Advertising and Marketing Opportunities. Aside from direct marketing, the sky is the limit when it comes to communicating your business message though signage and printed materials. Whether it is an exterior design for your location, a banner to display at conventions and trade shows, or flyers and business cards that can be handed out individually, take a look at the tools you are currently using and consider stepping outside of the box with new ideas to keep consumers engaged.
Lastly, tell your customers âThank You.â In order to keep your company successful, itâs important that you let your loyal customers know that you appreciate their business. Think about designing a promotional campaign that will give customers discounts on products or services, or give them a special thank-you gift branded with your company logo or a personalized greeting card.
